VERONICA LEIVA –
Veronica Leiva is a legal assistant at Alami Law in the consular processing and adjustment of status unit. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California to immigrant parents from Guadalajara, Mexico. Veronica is a single mother to four beautiful children whom she has brought up on her own. She attended Los Angeles City College and was able to obtain her certificate in Paralegal Studies. Veronica began doing internships in the community and in the course of her field work came across immigration law. She has dedicated the past five years of her professional life to that field. In her free time, she volunteers for a women and children’s shelter as a Victim’s Advocate. Veronica plans on returning to school to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice to strengthen her career in immigration law.
