Immigration cases can be complex for a great variety of reasons. First, the law is complicated. But even more complicated are the lives of the immigrants who often lived in the United States for many years. Our clients have complex family history or have previously been involved with the U.S. immigration or judicial system. Each story is unique, and there is no such thing as a simple immigration case.

A good immigration lawyer cannot give you proper advice without really getting to know your full story. For this reason, a consultation will last between 1 and 45 minutes. During the consultation, one of our immigration lawyers will discuss all aspects of your case, identify the best strategies for achieving your goals, estimate the chances of success, and explain the fees, timeline, and process that applies to your particular kind of case.

The consultation is a one-time commitment for a flat fee. The reason we charge fees for consultations is because it takes a considerable amount of time to get all of the important information that we need to properly evaluate your case.

Consultations may be in-person, over the telephone, or by videocall. We also offer consultations to those who are detained and in removal proceedings. Payment for the consultation fee must be made before the consultation is scheduled. No refunds will be made once the consultation begins, although we will honor a refund request made more than 24 hours before your appointment. If you need to reschedule your consultation, you must do so more than 24 hours before your appointment, and you must reschedule within 30 days.

Please understand that by scheduling a consultation, there is no guarantee that The Law Office of Amira Al-Alami will accept your case. The consultation fee is not refundable. We could refuse to take your case because we have too many cases, and because of ethical or other reasons. When you schedule a consultation with us, you can be assured that you will leave with honest and accurate answers to all of your questions regardless of whether you hire us or not.

If you would like to schedule a consultation, please call us at 1-(888)-990-6020 or email us. We hope to have the opportunity to discuss your case with you soon.
