Pedro Zermeno is a legal assistant at Alami Law. He was born and raised in the North-East Los Angeles community of Lincoln Heights. Pedro is a proud first-generation, Mexican-Honduran American. His father immigrated from Mexico and his mother immigrated from Honduras to the United States in hopes of providing a better future for their family.
Pedro attended California State University Los Angeles, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with an option in Global Politics. Pedro is the first in his family to attend and graduate from college. His passion for helping immigrants stems from personal experience. After an arduous process, he was able to petition his mother and assist in changing her immigration status from that of TPS recipient to lawful permanent resident. Like his mother’s immigration journey, he believes that every immigrant has the right to lawfully reside in the United States.
