Paola I. Neri is an Associate Attorney at Alami Law. Paola effectively handles multiple aspects of immigration and nationality law, including but not limited to family-based petitions, court defense, motions, legal briefs, Board of Immigration Appeals, and waivers of inadmissibility.
Paola grew up in San Diego, California after immigrating from Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico at the age of five. Raised in a working class, low-income home, Paola has a rich understanding of the obstacles that many immigrants face in this country. As a lawyer, Paola is committed to ensuring that her community has access to zealous legal representation and is well-informed.
Before joining Alami Law, Paola was an Associate Attorney at Law Office of Enrique Arevalo in South Pasadena, California. Paola also volunteered her time at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, Inc. at the Conservatorship Clinic in Probate Court, where she assisted in translating and providing information for participants who were Spanish-speaking and wished to petition for conservatorship.
Paola earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2012. Paola earned her B.A., Magna cum laude, in 2008 from the University of California, Irvine, with a major in Criminology, Law, and Society, where she was Phi Beta Kappa. Paola is admitted to the United States District Court, Southern District of California. She is fluent in the Spanish language.
