Juliana Garcia is an Associate Attorney at Alami Law. Juliana has several years of experience handling removal defense and family immigration cases before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court), the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She represents clients in numerous areas of immigration law, including but not limited to, asylum, cancellation of removal for lawful permanent residents and undocumented immigrants, motions to reopen, consular processing, stateside provisional waivers, naturalization, and adjustment of status.
Juliana grew up in Santa Ana, California. As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, Juliana has developed a deep understanding of the inequities found in immigration law and her personal experience and that of her family have nurtured a desire to help immigrant communities. As a result, Juliana has focused her legal career in resolving complex immigration cases.
Juliana earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2012. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008. Currently, Juliana is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA) and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Prior to joining Alami Law, Juliana was an associate attorney at Gomez and Associates in Los Angeles, California. She is fluent in Spanish.
